Performance-Driven Weights: Assigns 50%–80% of grade weight to Performance Tasks in most learning areas.
Targeted Awards & Timely Support: Restricts Academic Excellence awards to Key Stages 2–4 (offering Character Traits Awards for Key Stage 1) and institutes mandatory remediation by Week 5.
AI Governance: Regulates AI tools via defined categories (prohibited, limited, and guided) to safeguard academic integrity.
Implementation begins in SY 2026–2027, reorienting Philippine basic education toward holistic competence and transparent evaluation.
